Seasiders v Met Police- Your essential guide

Seasiders to host Met Police in FA Trophy 3rd Round Qualifying

The draw for the next round of the Buildbase FA Trophy was made on Monday and The Seasiders were handed a 3rd straight home draw in the competition against Southern League South Premier (Step 3) Metropolitan Police FC. The tie will take place at The Goldstar Ground on Saturday 31st October at 3pm.

'The Met', based in Molesey, Surrey, enter the FA Trophy at this stage and sit in 4th place in the league, with 11 points from 6 games, thanks to a 2-1 win at Taunton Town on Saturday. In last seasons curtailed competition, Met Police beat Tilbury 4-3 before making an exit after a replay at Biggleswade Town.

For the Seasiders, we have already progressed further than ever before and will be pleased with a home tie in front of our supporters for what hopefully will be a sellout. Capacity is limited to 400 and tickets sales have started strongly, so the Club advise purchasing yours in advance to guarantee your place. Season Tickets and passes are not valid for FA Trophy matches due to competition rules on sharing the gate proceeds.

The Seasiders have so far banked £3750 in prize money by beating Great Wakering (2-1) and Westfield (5-0) in the previous rounds, and a further £2450 is on offer to the winners of this 3rd Round Qualifying tie, with the losers banking £625.
