U13 Reds V Claydon

3/10/20: We travelled away for the second week running and on a very wet morning on a heavy but playable pitch.

The lads started brightly and played some good football but struggled to break down a stubborn Claydon defence and went one down after being caught on the break with a well-taken goal and it remained that way until half time.

HT 0-1

Second half started with us taking control of the game and pressed high and played some really good football and the Clayton keeper made two great saves to keep his team ahead. We continued to press and were little guilty of missing a few chances when on other day they would have gone in.

Unfortunately, after all the lads' efforts we couldn’t get the goal to get back in the game and it finished with a frustrating 0-1 defeat for us.

It’s a continuous learning curve for the boys and I’m sure will bounce back next week. 🔴⚪️
