Seasiders sign experienced pair

Felixstowe & Walton United are delighted to announce the signings of Sam Nunn and George Clarke from Stowmarket Town. Striker Clarke, whose former clubs also include  Ipswich Town, AFC Sudbury, Needham Market, Brightlingsea Regent and Brantham Athletic has signed a permanent deal until the end of the season, whilst experienced defender Nunn has extended his current loan spell through to May.

George Clarke, who has also been on loan for the last month, said. "Ever since I arrived, all the boys have been great, Boards and Crumpy have been brilliant and this club is clearly going somewhere big time! Look at the crowds of 300+ every week, the club can only keep going upwards".
Sam Nunn, formerly of Lowestoft Town, Bury Town, Needham Market as well as Stowmarket was equally delighted to be joining The Seasiders. "I was not getting any game time at Stowmarket, so when Felixstowe came in with a good offer it allowed me to get playing again, get match-fit and I'm really enjoying it here"
Speaking tonight, Stuart Boardley said "We felt like we needed a bit of experience at the back, Sam has played at this level and higher so suits us perfect, when we knew George was available it was immediately something we wanted to do" He went on to say "I tried to sign him in the summer when I was at Leiston and he turned me down! So it was second time lucky"
