The U11 Whites returned to Dellwood Avenue for the first time this season looking to build on last week's impressive away performance.

On a brisk and windy morning, We lost Charlie due to sickness before a ball had been kicked and Marcio started as sub due to motion sickness... and with wind chill we started a little sluggish against the wind.

First game of the new season took us to a new team in the SYL, with Sporting having moved over the border from the Norfolk league and playing their home games in Bury.

With the wind against them first half and after an unreflective loss to chantry in the previous week, the whites started tentatively.

The Reds lined up for their first league game of the season after a few squad changes and a range of friendlies. We were expecting a tough game to give us an idea of where our level was in this league.
