===========================

31st December 2015

As fantastic as the news is, the hard work really starts now to find the money to build the new development. Without the funds all the work achieved so far will have been in vain. The club are intending to apply to the Football Foundation for support.

So, we are staging a 'launch night' on Saturday 9th January from 6pm in the clubhouse to reveal a host of fundraising initiatives and hopefully get the money rolling in.

These will include:

'Buy A Brick' - £40 to have your name/message engraved on a brick to be displayed on a wall either inside the entrance lobby or exterior wall facing onto the main pitch.

'Platinum Lifetime Membership' - £1000 (can be paid in 4 instalments). This will grant privelidges in many forms in addition to your name inscribed on a brass plaque in the new clubhouse and pre-match Platinum Life membership lunches on occasions during future seasons.

'As above but for businesses'- £5000 minimum. Benefits still be be decided but can't affect 'normal' club sponsorship.

'92 in 92'- Myself and Stuart will be following up our 'Big day out' last year with a mammoth tour of all 92 league grounds throughout the country in 92 hours, starting on Tuesday 19th April and ending with a party at the finishing line at the club on Friday 19th April.

'Auction'- we will holding another auction on a date yet to be confirmed.

The 'launch night' will also give everyone the chance to brainstorm and suggest other ways of raising the money. I'm sure there is going to be an element of 'fundraising fatigue' because all we seem to do is want money off everyone all the time, but we have no choice. We can't afford for the project to collapse due to a shortfall of a few thousand pounds so i'm going to be banging on about money until we cut the ribbon for the new building!

Any comments, thoughts, pledges!, please come along on launch night and help us to move forward
