Welcome to our website, this is a completely independent site, launched in December 2014, it is wholly owned by Felixstowe & Walton United FC and sponsored by professional IT company DPS Technology Group who have been working with us to provide a website that hopefully fits all our requirements as a Charter Standard Community Club.

Pre-Season Fixtures

Season 2015/16 gets under way on Tuesday 30th June with the first pre-season training session followed by further sessions on Thursday 2nd July, Tuesday 7th, Thursday 9th, Tuesday 14th & Thursday 16th.

The week ahead:

Saturday 23rd May

Open 3pm-Late. The Senior Presentation evening takes place from 6pm onwards. Everyone is invited to attend. As well as the award presentations, starting at 7pm, there is a hog roast with all the trimmings and Live Music from local singer/songwriter Gussie Stafford. No ticket is required but there will be a £5 charge for the hog roast to help towards costs.

Presentation Evening

There were few (if any) surprises on Saturday night at the clubs presentation evening held at The Goldstar Ground. Top billing went jointly to Kate Ayriss and Chris Daynes who deservedly (& jointly) received the Clubman of the Year Award in recognition of their joint efforts, much of which is not seen by most of the people involved with the club as players, supporters, parents etc.

Nothing other than pride was riding on this game, both sides were competitive, keen to win, eager to take the points, but never a dirty game, physical, competitive, yes! but neither manager would expect anything less. So to end the final game of the season with two red cards seemed somewhat out of context with the game and situation.

The Seasiders completed their home fixtures with a win to halt a run of five games without a victory which included three defeats, one against the bottom and relegated side Ely City and another against Runaway league champions Norwich United.

Thurlow Nunn League - Premier Division

The two things confirmed at the end of the 90 minutes was that Norwich United are definitely champions as confirmed in midweek and will win the league by at least 14 points while the Seasiders will finish in either 5th, 6th or 7th position, dependent on other results if their current form continues. Two wins from the final two fixtures should confirm 5th spot but goal difference could be the deciding factor.
